Public Emergency Use AED (Automated External Defibrillator)

There are now Three public emergency use AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) in the village. As they are available to the community 24 hours per day they are also known as CPADs (Community Public Access Defibrillators), and are shown by the red markers on the map below.

The first is located at the entrance to Firs Caravan Park. It is on the wall of the Function Room on the right hand side as you drive in.

The second is located on the right by the gate into the National Animal Welfare Trust’s visitors car park (so can still be accessed when the gate is closed).

The third is located at the Youth and Community Building at Plough Corner on the wall (near the main entrance door).

Little Clacton Tennis Club also has an AED, although this is only available when the club (or at least the gate to the car park) is open. It is marked by the blue marker on the map.

To locate your nearest CPAD outside our parish, visit the East of England Ambulance Service website where they have an Excel workbook available to download containing all the ones they have been informed about. The workbook is updated fairly regularly.
